The schedule of the Qualifying Examination will be on July 21, 2012 instead of July 28, 2012 as announced earlier. 

This is due to the conflict of schedules of the conduct of the ICAS-English and the Qualifying Examination.

2012-2013 MCFKTP Qualifying Examination

The Mathematics Trainers’ Guild, Philippines (MTG) with SEC Registration No. 1996-10065 and PRC Accreditation No. 99-130 is a non-stock, non-profit organization of mathematics teacher, committed to develop and promote excellence in mathematics education and training in the country. To achieve these goals, it gives upgrading seminars to teachers and trains mathematically gifted students for international mathematics competitions.



One of the major programs of the MTG is the Mathematical Challenge for Filipino Kids Training Program (MCFKTP). This is the initial stage where we recruit participants to compete in various international math competitions such as the Hong Kong Po Leung Kuk Primary Mathematics World Contest, the China Primary/Junior School Math Olympiad, the Invitational World Youth Mathematics Intercity Competition, Elementary Mathematics International Competition and the American Region Mathematics League. Indeed, many MTG Kids brought home the victory to our country.



Henceforth, to offer good opportunities and provide excellent mathematics education and quality trainings in the country, we wish to invite your elementary grades 3, 4, 5 and 6 pupils and from 1st year to 4th year high school students to take the Qualifying Examination of the 2012-2013 MTG MCFKTP. The program is open to all elementary students born on after the 1st day of September 1998, while high school students must be born on or after the 1st of August 1995. We hope to recruit the best students/pupils to bolster our chance of winning in the international math competitions.



Registration starts on July 2, 2012 (Monday) and ends on July 13, 2012 (Friday). Those who are interested to take the Qualifying Examination and be a part of the training program, please send us a LETTER of INTENT together with the format registration form below to the nearest MTG center coordinator in your city. Each participant will be charged a testing fee of thirty-five (P35.00) pesos to cover the expenses for testing materials, honorarium for proctors and other miscellaneous expenses that may incur during the administration of the examination. You may submit your registration form and payment at the Main Office of Grace Christian College and look for Miss Grace Navarroza during Mondays to Fridays 8:30 am to 12:00 noon and 1:00 to 5:00 pm with contact # 366-9348. The schedule of the Qualifying Examination will be on July 21, 2012.(Saturday). The venue of the examination will be at Grace Christian College from 9:00 am to 11:00 am.
